The Bayou Companies, LLC, through its subsidiary Bayou Welding Works (BWW), provides a wide variety of welding services for oil and gas pipeline projects. This includes a full array of pipe multi-jointing services, onshore fabrication, offshore fabrication and CLAD welding for valves, fittings, wellhead components, pipe and other components.
Pipe Multi-Jointing
We use the AMI automatic TIG process for the root pass and hot pass for SCR welding. Our AMI machines also have narrow groove capacity. The fill passes and cap are performed with the submerged arc process. A combination of TIG, semi-automatic MIG and sub-arc is used for flow-line specifications. Our experienced staff is qualified in multiple flow-line welding procedures used in production and examined by AUT. We also have SCR procedures that comply with SCR AUT and SCR CTOD criteria and are ready for your next project.
Onshore Fabrication
The services we offer include onshore fabrication for subsea equipment including PLETS, WSAS, PLEMS, manifold, jumpers, new offshore platform fabrication, offshore platform refurbishing, production packages, boat landings, living quarters and heliports.
In addition, our onshore facilities feature:
- 90-foot by 150-foot fabrication shop equipped with overhead cranes
- 50-foot by 150-foot fabrication shop equipped with overhead cranes
- Bulkhead load-out area stabilized fabrication area
- Waterfront capable of handling up to a 100-foot by 400-foot barge
- 10,000-square feet of covered storage area
Offshore Fabrication
Our outstanding fabrication staff works in ample facilities with state-of-the-industry equipment and embodies our pledge to quality, safety and consistency. Our personnel make the difference, displaying a level of dedication and experience beyond the norm. We provide quality platform hookup crews, maintenance crews, compressor installation and platform upgrades.
Our crews hold certifications in water survival, rigging, scaffold building, confined space and complete regular training in order to stay up-to-date with the latest procedures.
CLAD Welding
We use Arc specialties welding systems. These brand-new state of the art systems are fully computer-controlled and operated by our trained and competent staff. The welding systems include built-in heat modules to maintain pre-heat and interpass temperature as required. The benefits of our climate- and computer-controlled facility provide high-quality corrosion resistance and provide a clean and safe work environment.
