Insituform® offers affordable, trenchless solutions to renew and extend the life of underground stormwater control and drainage structures. A large number of culverts running under the nation’s roadways are approaching or have exceeded their expected design life. A culvert or storm sewer pipe collapse can have catastrophic effects on the traveling public, your budget and your credibility. Insituform® can help you avoid the direct costs and social costs of a failure by proactively renewing your underground assets.
Insituform® offers trenchless cured-in-place (CIPP) products that can be installed with minimal disruption. Insituform® CIPP is a jointless, seamless, pipe-within-a-pipe that renews structural integrity to the host pipes while increasing flow capacity and significantly reducing long-term maintenance costs. Insituform® cured-in-place pipes (CIPP) can be installed in host pipes of all materials, shapes and a wide range of diameters.
Our Insituform® CIPP products address your top concerns:
Structural Integrity: Insituform® CIPP restores structural integrity to your underground storm control structures. The design models used, independent test results and 35 years of service all confirm that Insituform® CIPP is a structural product with a 100-year design life.
Flow Capacity: Insituform® CIPP provides the least cross-sectional reduction of all methods used to rehabilitate pipes. Despite the cross-sectional reduction, the smooth, jointless interior of our product typically improves flow capacity. There are no joints or seams that can separate over time. The smooth interior also provides excellent abrasion resistance and reduced maintenance.
Speed: We can renew your problem storm structures in hours, compared to the weeks and months that you can encounter with a conventional dig and replace solution. Our solutions keep traffic flowing.
Safety: Our installation processes are quick and minimize or eliminate traffic impact. There are no open trenches with our solutions. Every Insituform® crew member has gone through extensive safety training, follows a site specific safety plan and is backed by a large network of safety support individuals. These factors help keep your crews, our crews and the traveling public safe.
Traffic Impact: There are many tangible and intangible costs associated with detours and lane closures. User delays alone can cost the traveling public thousands of dollars in a very short time frame. Our installation techniques minimize traffic impact and the associated headaches and costs.
