Insituform RPP™ – Pressure Pipe
The structural solution for deteriorated pressure pipe
Your damaged pressure pipe system needs a solution that is specially designed to withstand the operating pressure and thermal stresses during your system’s operation. Insituform RPP ™ is an advanced, proven and non-disruptive technology that will extend the useful life of deteriorated and leaking pressure pipes. And because it requires limited access and is installed by experienced Insituform® safety-certified teams, there is minimal disruption to system or plant operations.
Insituform RPP™ is the solution for your pressurized pipe system: • Diameter ranges from 8 inches to 60 inches • Restores structural integrity • Suitable for rehabilitation of various pipe materials, including cast/ductile iron, steel, asbestos cement, RCP and thermoplastic pipes • Thin wall and close fit minimizes reduction in flow cross section • Flexibility to negotiate horizontal and vertical bends up to 45° • Small site footprint required for installation • Installed inside the existing pipe so there is no risk of damage or disturbance to adjacent utilities or infrastructure • Trenchless installation reduces traffic and commercial disruption, site noise, pollution and safety concerns as well as the need for imported backfill and pavement reinstatement • Rapid installation reduces the duration of the project along with the associated costs and impact
Structure Insituform RPP™ has a construction similar to that of standard Insituform® CIPP tubes. However, special fiberglass reinforcement is included to address specific service conditions found in pressure applications. The resin system for Insituform RPP™ is a vinyl ester.
Applications Insituform RPP™ can be used on many different pressure systems: • Sewage force mains • Cooling water lines • Fire water • Process lines
