Albuquerque Pipeline Rehabilitation
 A 12" water pipe running underneath Interstate 40 was renewed unsing Insituform® PPL to negotiate four 45° bends. Insituform® PPL (Pressure Pipe Liner) is a cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) suitable for pressurized and potable water pipes and is installed in much the same way as Insituform's traditional CIPP.
For pipeline diameters rangin from 8 inches to 60 inches, Insituform® PPL is a non-disruptive pipe solution rugged
enough to resist the thermal stresses and operating pressure of a variety of systems including industrial and municipal operations.
Insituform® PPL is a custom-engineered CIPP
product designed to eliminate leakage and prevent internal corrosion
and/or erosion in structurally sound pressure pipe. Insituform PPL® is
designed with the flexibility to expand up to and transfer internal
pressure loading to the host pipe while maintaining the ability to span
any small holes, pits or open joints that may exist in the host pipe.
The Insituform PPL® design assumes that the host pipe is currently
structurally sound and will continue to carry the internal pressure
loading for the life of the piping system.
