Colorado Creek Crossing
Insituform Blue gave new life to a 540-foot long, 20" water main crossing under a sensitive creek using PolyFold®. Previously out-of-service, the pipeline was able to be renewed reinstated thanks to the Insituform Blue® HDPE product.
The pipe-within-a pipe was installed using a lo-dig process known as modified slip-lining. In this process,the diameter of an HDPE pipe is decreased and then inserted inside the existing deteriorated pipeline. It is then reformed to adhere to the pipe wall structure, forming an interactive or structurally independent pipeline. Click here to learn more about PolyFold®.
