Kenneth Young Named Vice President and Treasurer for Insituform

CHESTERFIELD, MO  April 17, 2009 –
Insituform Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq Global Select Market: INSU) announced today it has named Kenneth L. Young as Vice President and Treasurer, effective April 13, 2009.


Mr. Young comes to Insituform with over 30 years of experience in treasury and financial management.  He most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer, Secretary and Treasurer for Huttig Building Products, a public company based in St. Louis, Missouri, where he was responsible for treasury activities, internal financial operations, accounting, reporting and SEC compliance.  Prior to that, he served as Corporate Treasurer for MEMC Electronic Materials.  Mr. Young attended the University of Missouri, Columbia, where he earned a BS degree in finance and banking.
